About TowneBank

TowneBank opened in 1999 and is now one of the largest banks headquartered in Virginia. Founded in Hampton Roads, locations now stretch from the coast to Richmond and central Virginia, and in North Carolina from the Outer Banks to Charlotte. Our bankers can help you with both business and personal banking services. Along with our talented and experienced bankers, the Towne family of services includes mortgage, insurance and investment specialists who can help you with all of your financial needs. Throughout our growth, we have never lost sight of our roots: local decision-making, community leadership, volunteerism, philanthropy and a culture of caring.
